What is WoW Forever?
WoW Forever is Blizzard's new, ongoing take on original Azeroth. It starts at level 1 and expects to keep changing after launch.
Is it WoW Classic?
It starts from the original World of Warcraft world and its level 1 to 60 journey. Blizzard has also announced new zones, dungeons, quests, talent changes, and more race and class combinations. So it has Classic bones, but it is not a museum copy.
When does it launch?
Blizzard announced November 4, 2026 at 3 p.m. PST for the global launch. Dates and features can move. Check Blizzard's news page when you are close to making a new character.
Can I trust an old Classic guide?
Use it for ideas, then check the current Forever client. A familiar class name does not prove that the tree, talents, or leveling route stayed the same.
What does this site cover?
Forever Builds is mainly a talent calculator. It uses a recorded beta snapshot and tells you which build it came from. The challenge tab is for optional personal rules. It does not track game characters.
