Forever Builds is an independent fan project for players who enjoy planning a character as much as playing one.

Useful first

Our focus is small, practical tools and original guides. No account is required. Our pixel dachshund is Trail Hound. He appears where a short note or a reminder to write things down is useful. He is a site character, not a game character.

What our labels mean

• Confirmed: a specific claim supported by a linked primary source, with a review date. Announced plans can still change.
• Provisional: incomplete or not yet checked for the relevant game revision. The generator’s Classic-era roster is in this category.
• Recorded beta data: talent text and tree structure imported from a named client snapshot. The calculator now uses this data instead of illustrative talents; it is not an in-game verification by us.

Data and corrections

The calculator imports all nine classes from the attributed Talents Forever beta-client export. Its 468 tree records were cross-checked against Wowhead for positions, rank caps and prerequisites. Read the data sources and limitations. New revisions must not silently reinterpret shared builds. We publish corrections with an updated revision and review date. Shared runs carry a schema and roster revision so future updates can preserve their meaning.

Independent house rules

Our challenge templates are fan-written personal rules. We do not read game accounts, certify runs, or certify challenge results.

Keeping the campfire lit

The site uses privacy-conscious Umami analytics to understand aggregate visits and referrers. We may consider clearly labelled ads later to support hosting, with updated privacy information. The tools should stay usable, and commercial support must not determine the advice we publish.
